Strawberry Shortcake Trifle
This was served as dessert at a birthday party for one of my daughter's best friends. I instantly fell in love and spent the last 2 months begging for the recipe. It's so easy to make, is nice and light which is perfect for a summer treat, and looks beautiful when made in a trifle bowl.

1 (5 oz) package of vanilla pudding mix
3 C cold milk (to make the pudding)
1 (9 inch) angel food cake, cut into cubes
At least 16 oz of fresh strawberries, sliced
12 oz cool whip
Prepare pudding according to box directions. Gently fold in cool whip until combined. In trifle bowl (or other serving dish) layer the cake pieces, pudding mixture, and strawberries. Repeat layers. Cover and chill in refrigerator 4 hours before serving.
