Pretzel Turtle Delights
We went to an 80's themed trivia night last weekend. It was amazingly fun! As a table we opted for appetizers and desserts instead of a group dinner, so I whipped out a bunch of these chocolatey-caramely babies. The combination of sweet and salty is perfect.
Recipe:
1 bag square pretzels
1 lg. bag rolos
1 container mixed nuts
Preheat the oven to 375
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Unwrap the rolos, placing one rolo on top of each pretzel.
Place the baking sheet in the oven, and bake for a few minutes until the chocolate just starts to look "melty".
Remove the baking sheet and carefully top each rolo with a nut, pressing just slightly to depress the nut into the chocolate.
Allow to harden (if you're in a hurry, transfer the foil/paper with the pretzels onto a cool baking sheet and put it in the freezer).
