Mini Pigs in a Blanket

This is one of my husband's favorite appetizers.  I like to make my own Buffalo Ranch dipping sauce, but they also go great with ketchup and mustard.  All it takes is a package of little smokies and 2-3 containers of crescent rolls.

Recipe:  (Printable Recipe Here)

2-3 packages of reduced fat crescent rolls
1 package of little smokies (sausages)
Condiments

Take the crescent roll dough and spread it out.  Cut it into triangles closer to the size of the little smokies.  The bottom of the triangle (large end) should be just smaller than the little smokie length-wise.

Place 1 little smokie on the large end of each triangle.  Hold the sausage and the biscuit end together and roll toward the pointy end.

Bake as directed on the crescent package, possibly shortening the baking time by a few minutes.  Bake until just lightly golden brown.

For the Buffalo-Ranch sauce (my favorite) combine 2/3 C ranch dressing with 1/3 C buffalo sauce
